In this paper we choose durian Monthong as crop cultivation:
Durian grows optimally at 50-600 altitude above sea level, the soil is suitable is sandy loam, fertile and contains a lot of organic material, and H 6-7 Janis suitable soil is letosol, podosolik or andosol.

Heavy textured soils, such as marine soil is not good for the plant durian, since drying is very difficult, especially during the rainy season. In the dry season the soil will harden and difficult sea water so that the plant will absorb the water shortage and the growth will be impaired. Otherwise on sandy soil is also not good because the resulting fruit taste less sweet. The desired depth of groundwater is 50-33 cm, because durian plant roots can penetrate the soil to a depth of 3 m, shallow soil will interfere with durian plant roots, and root rot because many troubled water. Ideal rainfall is 1,500-2,500 mm durian growing annually by 3-4 months / years to stimulate growth with a light intensity of 40-50% with a temperature of 22-30 0 C.
